José Javier Cajigas

José Javier Cajigas, born on August 15, 1974, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, passed away on April 28, 2026, in Neptune, New Jersey. His departure marks the loss of a cherished husband, father, son, and brother whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

José is survived by his devoted wife, Shannon Cajigas. Together, they built a family emblematic of strength and warmth, raising three sons: Kristoffer, the eldest; Ryan, the middle child; and Nathan, the youngest. His role as a father was central to his life, and his sons carry forward his legacy with pride and love; father, José Abel Cajigas; mother, Amee Campbell; and sister, Amy England; extended family and loving friends. 

A Celebration of Life honoring José Javier Cajigas will be held on May 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Avalon Park Funeral and Cremation, located at 3680 Avalon Park East Blvd. Suite #330, Orlando, Florida, 32828. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and all who were touched by José’s presence to come together, reflect, and pay homage to a remarkable man who enriched their lives.
